The Self Denial Appeal invites Salvationists to release some of our own personal finances for the sake of others: This week we look at the work that is happening in Kenya.
August 26th 2017 Our Enemy is full of convincing accusations about who we are and what we’re made of. Why we’re not good enough today, and why we won’t be good enough tomorrow, either. He hangs our shame in front of our face, trying to drown out the identity Jesus has given us as believers. How do we know what voice to listen to?

August 26th 2017 Our fears are fuelled by worry. Playing out the ‘what if?’ scenarios of things outside our control and producing nothing more than anxiety and fear. But what is really at the bottom of our worst fears? Through the story of Paul’s shipwreck in Acts we can see how to shift our fear to faith, and how, through Christ, we can face any situation with the promise, “God says He will.”

July 25th 2017 We’re seeking ways to reduce the impact of our eco-footprint in the community. This month is Plastic Free July, and it has inspired us to discontinue the use of plastic bags in our Family Store. From the end of this week we’re making the switch to sustainable packaging, continuing our collaboration with Innocent Packaging - producers of packaging that is made from reused or renewable resources, packaging that is produced in the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly ways currently possible, and that is compostable or recyclable after use.

July 18th 2017 During our Sunday Gatherings we cover topics that reflect the questions that our community are asking. On the 30th of July we will begin our next series, Crash The Chatter Box - For all of us the voice we believe will determine the future we experience.
We’re indebted to @elevationchurch for the inspiration behind this series.
